Cam. sas. sweet jane

Sweet Jane is a Victorian bred hybrid variety that can flower for 5 – 6 months of the year. Rose pink buds open to masses of white/blush pink blooms edged soft pink to pink. Sweet Jane’s new growth in Autumn and Spring has a beautiful coppery deep red hue over its bushy upright foliage. Best results for Sweet Jane are achieved with well prepared and well mulched soil and a landscape position which offers protection from the extremes. (Hot/cold winds, excessive heat/frost etc.)

Sweet Jane is suitable for planting in both, full sun or lightly shaded positions.
If planting Sweet Jane as a hedge or screen we recommend planting with a spacing of between 0.9m to 1.5m apart. (Use the narrower spacing where a dense bushy hedge is required quickly and wider spacings for a superior long term effect).

Sweet Jane will take several months and up to a year to establish in its new home depending on the time of year it is planted. Ensure the soil is kept moist but not overwatered. Watering can be reduced as the plant establishes.
Prune in early spring for shape as required (later pruning will reduce Autumn flowering).
